    Dealings with Charles Fish?

    Hi everyone,

I’ve done a search but nothing recent has come up, and I’m interested if people have had dealings with Charles Fish?

My friend is looking to buy a pre-owned Explorer:

    https://charlesfish.co.uk/products/p...14270-99148227

Price seems reasonable for box and papers, but he will be ordering online, and it’s his first (and likely only) high value purchase, so he’s looking for reassurance.

Would people recommend/vouch for Charles Fish and their aftersales service in case of any issues?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Bought a Panerai a good few years ago.
when the watch arrived I was slightly disappointed as it didn’t meet my expectations.
In fairness they did offer a full refund but I settled on a sum towards a service so overall a fair experience which wouldn’t put me off using them again .

I'll vouch for them. Old family firm, big assets, honest people. With watches, ask for Luke if you need support - he's one of "us."

Haywood's response is all you really need but I bought a Black Bay 58, in a seamless transaction. I collected in store having bought on-line as i live near one of their stores, they have two as I recall but may have more. Very happy with the service and the watch.

Well that's just brill. I thought that you might flounder for a response but the members put their skates on and didn't carp for once.

Good to hear that mr Fish is not a shark. Not sure if he's a sole trader but you'll likely have a whale of a time if you made a porpoiseful visit, apparently he welcomes flippers.

I've bought from them. Really easy communication and I picked up the watch in Chelmsford. Would happily deal with them again. Also I was able to pay with credit card rather than COD which was helpful.

    Charles Fish

    [QUOTE=MadeOfCheese;5965864]Hi everyone,

I’ve done a search but nothing recent has come up, and I’m interested if people have had dealings with Charles Fish?………….

I used them last summer for a Trade in. Gave me a great price for my watch and money off the one I purchased. They had my watch collected and sent my Trade promptly. I was kept informed throughout and like others mentioned I dealt with Luke who was very professional. Ive got nothing but good things to say about the business. Good luck

Only just seen this but can add another very positive experience.

Multiple trade in for a high value item & they were straight forward, honest & polite to deal with.
