Picked up some water, meteor and sky references.

Maybe just more meteorite dials across the range?

    It’s like watching Bulls Eye.

Here’s another watch you cannot buy…

Interested to see what dial & bezel colours they will slap on an existing model, but absolutely no interest in buying one.

    Rolex teaser

First one is either a Milguass or AirKing. Line in the crown indicates twinlock. I’m going Milguass.

    Second, no idea, probably womens.

Third is SkyDweller I think. Could be time for a white gold on Oysterflex.

Fourth is a GMT I think. Trip lock and three equal dots is reserved for steel and yellow gold.

Last one should be white gold according to the dots. Possibly a GMT or YM? Picture looks rose gold though. Rogue suggestion could be rose gold Sub.

Still hoping for titanium Yacht Master. Could be in there still.

Feels a bit pointless if you can never get one.

And this is very much the view on social media, a few comments about hopes delugued under the huge number of complaints about availability. Plus regular comparisons with the Swatch Omega release at the weekend.

    Like Rolex care...

Seems common with everything. I remember when the last Omega Snoopy came out you could register with Omega to be notified when it was available, just what was the point of that. Rolex has been Rolex for years, so no change there, but when watch buyers cannot buy little lumps of plastic for a few hundred quid each the new watch business does not serve the average buyer.

Nothing against any watch or brand in particular, but if there was a limited edition dog turd people would fight to buy one.

    Pointless for pretty much everyone.

More titillation for the minority a general wind up for the majority.

The GMT looks interesting.. Seems a new bezel colour combo from the ever so little glimpse of the dual colours at the 3pm portion. My steel pepsi has triple dots trip lock so not just for bi-metals.

It’s quite nuanced but the number of dots is as important as the size and order of the dots.

Two more days. Anyone know what time?

Ah.. I mis-read your post. Thought you meant 3 equal dots and triplock is just for steel and yellow gold (as in bi-metals), but you meant steel watches and yellow gold watches. My bad.

No worries, can’t wait to see what comes. Hopefully the hype moves onto that and I can get a call about last year’s stuff!

Actually looking at the GMT.. maybe it's left handed.. can see the 2, and what looks like an 8 at the crown position.. and only way that could be.. would be a left handed GMT.

Guess the mirror is a play/nod to this too.

Interesting that what was once excitement is now met with ‘meh’ due to supply. I feel the same. Doesn’t matter if I like the releases or not. I won’t be able to buy one.

    Rolex teaser

These two are floating around IG as unconfirmed. A platinum SkyDweller would weigh the same as a small child.

That bezel color is silver grey defo not coke

This is the pic that confuses and intrigues me the most. Im keen on adding an airking or a milgauss to the fold, and this looks like a smooth bezel on a more sub style case, for maybe a sportier take on either?

I don’t normally comment on Rolex threads but I’m intrigued by this. I can’t think of a watch they currently have with a fixed bezel and crown guards.

New entry in the Explorer II line?

No print / engraving in the bezel pictured though. My money is on a new Air-King.

Everyday is a School Day :-)
I knew about the number of dots and what they represented, but never knew or noticed the different configuration.
    Thanks for the intriguing info.

I thought that same, however a grey bezel submariner would be a big hit.

  33. #33
Some would call it a teaser
Some would call it fuelling the hype machine
Some would call it all rather pointless

I’m in the latter camp these days and I will be avoiding TZ and the feverish slabbering for a good week or so

I'd say it's definitely a GMT. You can make out recessed numbers on the bezel. Coke looks likely.

The black possibly? There's somewhat an overlap with the black sub

It would be but would step on the toes of the rhodium dial YM37/YM40 as that has a grey/platinum bezel.

Seen them do worse though. Imagine being a WG BLRO owner when the steel came out. Livid.

Might as well say I want to visit the Unicorn ranch. If that watch came out I doubt you will ever see one unless you get lucky or you pay over the odds (which seems to be the mo of Rolex anyway). black and green - more chance of me winning the lottery than getting the watch at rrp
