This all week, now on a newly-arrived sharkskin strap more in keeping with the vintage vibe.

    Have a good one!

Not at all, It's a custom strap I had made by Jean Rousseau a couple of years ago based on the cordura NATO they do, but with a few changes including making it a single-pass without the additional keeper part.

I've just dug this photo out from back when they were doing it. I sent them a drawing showing what I wanted (bottom), and they replied with a drawing of their own (top) with a few suggested changes - absolute attention to detail, can't rate them highly enough.

I remember a few people over on Omega Forum suggesting they made the earliest Omega NATOs such as the brown / olive one that came with the Apollo 11 45th LE; but when I asked JR themselves they seemed unaware, so I never answered that one conclusively.
