Thread: Shower assistance

    Shower assistance

We’ve got a Hansgrohe Raindance shower

Similar to this but not quite the same:- https://www.ukbathrooms.com/products...100mm-arm.html

Had it five years. The spray has turned into a dribble. Could be build up of limescale

Anyone had similar issue and tips on how to clean it through.

Start by removing the rain-head and see what your throughput is.

If that's okay - you might find there is a build up of scum/scale inside the head.

Try the shower on full-cold - any flow?
Try the shower on full-hot - any flow?

The above two tests could lead you to a filter being blocked in either inlet.

Not sure if the mixer unit itself could provide a blockage - but if accessible - have a look.

Deleted as advice was for a flexible head version.

Find out what model it is - go on the internet for a spares supplier and examine the parts-placement diagram (Like below)

    https://www.bathroomspareparts.co.uk...216-1661-c.asp

Check for flow working backwards from the shower head, and once you get to the mixer unit - find the filter(s) locations on the drg.

Submerge your shower head in a descaler solution once you’ve established there is flow through the flexi hose.

Thanks for all the advice. Managed to find the installation guide and with the right allan keys have got the head off. Cleaned it out and magically it is back to full flow
