The 2022 season will be the first to feature hybrid powertrains, with all cars fitted with a new Cosworth-developed gearbox-mounted electric boost system

If anyone is following the season towards the brand's hatch finale it's been one of the closest ever and we could be crowning a new champ this year

Personally rooting for Jake Hill but could still be a few of the drivers

Sensible money probably on Ash Sutton or Tom Ingram

Been following it for years, been to Knockhil, Donnington and Thruxton this year. I am a big an of Sutton but would still like to see Tingram do it.

Likewise, but I don't think he has a hope after Silverstone.

My money is on Sutton, he's probably the best racer in the series.

Would love to see Ting get the trophy but with Sutton in the mix he has to be favourite, more the ‘go for the gap’ guy.

Well I said it would be one of the 2 and Tingram managed it

So happy for him a very deserving champion

Sutton was nowhere on pace in the end and Jake Hill gave it everything and nearly got second overall

I really liked Jake Hill’s approach throughout the season, but what a nice guy Tom Ingram comes across as!

Was a great day out yesterday.

Amazingly cold at 8am when we arrived. Had so many clothing layers to choose through the day & all got used! Amazing weather for the end of season racing though.

A great end to the season and right to the last race. I’m sure Plato will be back though. I hope so, anyway as he’s been my hero from the early days.

Having seen the 911 crash, and the mechanics working on it during the afternoon, I’m amazed it was back on track for the second race.

More racing than I got to see at the last thruxton meet, with the awful Ginetta crash that took an age to extract the poor drivers.

Really pleased for Tom, nice guy, usually has time to stop and chat as long as you approach him at a suitable time, now the long wait till next season.
