Anyone in Italy who can receive a delivery?

I know this sounds like a mafia drug deal, but I have found a watch in Italy and he won't ship to UK.
Can anyone receive this watch and post to UK please?

    Hi,
I'm in Italy, Brescia. I wouldn't want to post anything, but I do plan to visit England for Easter and could bring it over and post it. Anything that is posted to me goes to a business address and is clearly marked as such. I never use my private address, too many things gone missing.

Is the Italian postal service really that bad/untrustworthy.
    Cheers,

I have used it a few times, I have had parcels opened in the past but everything sent there got there. Only time something got “Lost” was when it arrived in the UK.

There is a well know black hole just outside London where parcels go missing.

That could work, I have no rush for the watch as I have a few to keep me going. Where will you be staying at Easter ?

It's probably not quite as bad as I made out. They don't tend to write letters to people (true in Uk now) so anything personal stands out. I haven't met an Italian yet who says anything good about the postal service (not sure service is the right word).
I'll be staying in Deal, Kent. I'll PM the address in Italy and feel free to use it if you don't get a better offer.

    Yes.

I ran an ebay account for a charity and over 50% of parcels we sent to Italy never arrived.
We ended up excluding Italy from areas we would post to. The only EU country that was on the list.

I was told (although this really is hearsay, I have no evidence) that Italian postal workers are very poorly paid so supplement their income by appropriating likely looking parcels.
