    Scratched my Dunhill itch

8034 just arrived. Very classical at first glance but the Dunhill eccentricities are there - claret reflecting inner bezel, slight tulip case. Came on its original bracelet but it’s a tad too snug for me so it’s resting on the blue suede until the 21mm dark brown croc I've ordered from David Richards turns up.

That’s a lovely piece. The font on the numerals is really unusual.

Thank you. That's very much the plan. Just got my Kontiki itch to scratch now and I can stop scratching for a while!

I did not know these were a thing - thanks for educating me. Was briefly obsessed by Dunhill cologne as a teenager, but I didn't know they made watches.

Well they don’t, in that someone else does/has. Don’t know who. Wiser head than me says the case is likely Fricker. Movement is ETA.

It is a lovely looking watch. I was tempted by the one on ebay (linked from the OP's other thread) and even made a few bids, but I was distracted as I was bidding on an Airman 1, which I also lost. I'd like to add a somewhat art deco inspired watch to the collection and this has got me considering Dunhill.
