    World Cyclocross

I know we have a few muddy cyclist followers on here. The World Cyclocross season is being covered on BBC including I Player. The junior men and ladies finals were yesterday. The senior ladies race is a good watch. Tonight Live ( about 8pm ish) our very own Tom Pidcock takes on the field.
It will be interesting as the big hitters Wout Van Aert and Matthew Van der Pol are absent. The racing is from Laffayette in the USA.

Hi. I’ll be watching it on Eurosport. I didn’t realise bbc were covering it as well so might dip in and see what they are like.

Fingers crossed for Tom to add to his gold medal in mountain bike.

Shame Van Der poel and van aert aren’t there as well.

    Cheers, Shaun

Shaun I recon he will get a bol….g for that , did you see the bike twist. But then again he’s 22.

I loved the tail kick after the last fast drop, and so did the fans there was a roar of appreciation. Looks like he adopted the Olympic MTB approach. Go out steady and safe, needle a few on the climbs to assess their response, then just clear off.

Two golds for GB at the same event not to tardy.

I did see the slight twist. Could have been embarrassing!

Tom P. is the man to beat this year. MvdP has serious back injury. I don't think that he'll be competing before June, July.

The way he pulled away on lap 4 on that tricky section, that was perfect timing and realisation that the guy in second had slipped up in that section so he took that moment to destroy the field, absolutely superb and the superman pose at the end, quality.
