I don't watch TV these days really but I'll make the time to catch up.
At the moment I am reading my way through some of the Pacific campaigns of WWII and will end up back in Europe no doubt.
Thanks for posting, R.

Was a very moving programme.
Started out with nothing. Still have most of it left.
Late heads up.

Night Will Fall.
Also on catch-up
Allied film unit at the liberation of one of the death camps.
Even today this is a harrowing watch
Non of us have any right to moan especially when you hear what the survivors went through.
Fantastic art work.
I went to school with one of the sons of Manfred Goldberg and was in their house very frequently as a kid.
I had no idea what this softly-spoken, kindly man had been through and only found out quite recently when he started telling his story in the media.
On the one hand, it seems inconceivable that humans can do this to other humans. On the other hand, it sometimes doesn't seem so far-fetched, sadly.
In a similar vein, there was a programme on Wednesday evening about Boris Pahor (author & poet, was imprisoned in Natzweiler-struthof, lesser known concentration camp in Alsace).
Harrowing and fascinating in equal measure.

I've just watched it, so moving and even as a Republican, good on Charles for organising these portraits.
I am in awe of the survivors and also the artists who did such captivating work.

Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations
Very moving to watch, almost indescribable what these lovely people had to endure so young.
I went to both Auschwitz camps to pay my respects to those who suffered and perished there, a very moving experience.
