    Replacement Tissot bezel

A friend has asked me where he'd find a replacement bezel for what was his dad's Tissot PR516. He says it's like the one in the link below, so Bakelite sadly. I've looked at Cousins without success and afetr that no idea what to tell him other than to look out for a spares & repair watch to take one from. If anyone has any advice I can pass on that would be fab, thank you.

You should ask on all the relevant watch forums including FB.

There's a guy making them himself, he also sells them but not sure how much he charges. Pretty amazing process, I thought I was good with DIY, until I saw this:

    Thought I recognised the username.
I see from your youtube you can cut new hands (as well as lap cases etc etc).
The workshop must be quite well equipped now. Hope the house renovations are complete.

Welll......we're getting there but I guess a house never gets done! ;)
Yes, have a few new machines that makes part production easier - right now much focus on making bezels/inserts and welding/lapping cases.

Great stuff. I have a PR516 (Visodate) myself with a faded aluminium bezel, plus a couple of others in the "fixer upper drawer'. A lot of them that come up for sale have missing bezels and I'd often wondered about making replacements.
