    What are the chances?

Today, I put my watch on for the first time in about a month but didn’t have time to set it. As I was leaving the house, looked at it and thought…that’s a coincidence, it’s pretty close to the actual time. When I checked it against the actual time, it was hacked to the second!

So I make that a 1 in 43200 chance? Anyone else had that happen before?!

Its so unlikely, I thought I must have recently worn it, set it and forgotten but am absolutely positive it hasn’t been out of the watch box for about 3-4 weeks.

    Spooky!

Did you also happen to buy a lottery ticket today?

I have…but I reckon I just used my lifetimes luck with the prize of saving 30 seconds setting my watch!

I have had that happen with a stopped watch, picked it up to wind and its been to the minute of current time.

Also spooky is we have a clock wall, lots of random clocks that are different sizes, colours, designs that make a feature, most are AA battery powered and they often stop when the battery runs out which is completely random as it goes on the life of the battery.

The other day I looked at them and 4 or 5 had stopped and they all stopped at 12.00, there is no date function to make it harder to switch past 12.00? Bit weird but must be a logical answer...
