Art project survey - can you help?

    Hi

My daughter is doing a survey for her art course and would really appreciate any additional response to the survey that she has created.

Only takes a few minutes to complete and is on the subject of Family.

    Thanks a lot

Also done. To add that I initially struggled to comment on the photographs as they're so small; I searched for each on the web. One of the most moving art displays I've seen (and visited to photograph) was Jackie Lantelli's 'The Wire Soldiers' in 2018.

Done; I hope that my Dutch contribution gives it an international cachet.

Can you post a synopsis of the outcome (in due time)? That would be interesting.

    Thanks all!

I will ask for a synopsis of the results and if it can be shared.

If anyone else wants to add to it then please go ahead.

    Cheers

Happy to do this as my own daughter is in art school, although I am not sure my answers are terribly articulate or insightful

Done. Unfortunately I am a philistine in the subject of art and only like a very limited amount, it might give another perspective so hope it helps her!

"Everyone's a critic: when you are doing something good, everybody wants to bring you down, and that's something I've been told. People want to see you do good, but not too good. The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." Edmiund Burke.

Happy to help, and it's good that she has an opportunity to learn the craft of using artistic media. Tell her to ignore all advice and all criticism (including this!), and create from the heart alone - only then can she have the opportunity to succeed or fail on her own terms with her integrity intact. Without integrity, art is nothing. It is always OK to fail in the eyes of others, so long as you succeed in your own.

My art collection consists of some dogs playing pool and a female tennis player walking away and scratching her bottom.

I was pleased to share my expert opinions.

Best of luck to your daughter, great approach polling thoughts for perceptions.
