Don't understand why they accept the word if it's not in the list of potential solutions? I though that was the point of the game?

Perhaps I wasn't clear.

It was a real word, but Wordle rejected it - I guess they have to have a database of accepted words, but it wasn't an obscure one.

The result I posted was mine, not my wife's.

Understood.

Mine was the other way around. It was a real word, and Worldle accepted it despite it not being in the solutions list. Worldle must have two separate word lists, one with accepted words and one with potential solutions. Strange.
