G Shock GW-M5610 strap mod question

A question for the hive - is is possible to mod my base M5510 with the more supple strap from the 5000U-1JF or similar? If so, are there are any recommended resellers/sites for the part(s)? Domo.

I suspect typos in your post and think you are really asking 'will the strap from the posh 5000 fit my 5610?'. If so the answer is yes. The 5000 type looks similar but is softer feel. I got mine from Tiktox, but I don't know if the are still going.

Yes tiktox is the place to go but they’re out of stock at the moment.

It's also available from pacparts in the US but for a lot more money:

I've done this swap with my GW-M5600 and it's super easy. Looks like I'll be ordering from tiktox the next time I want to do this.

I have bought spares direct from Casio a few times. Always cheaper than from resellers. I have emailed for a price then you call to place the order using the part numbers they provide if you don’t already have them.

I did this with the old combi bracelet and it worked out a fair bit cheaper.
