I had a very similar watch in the early 80s without the tide dial. It was broken in a drawer for years but now lost.
Just came across this in an auction. Handsome thing, although the mixed steel/plastic case probably a bit Marmite.
Quick bit of research suggests this was a British company called Yachting Instruments making in the 70s and 80s - link here: https://www.tidemaster.co.uk/our-history/ - but can't find anything else.
Dial and caseback say Swiss made. Would love to know by whom. And the auction listing says the movement is an auto but has nothing further to add. Just really piqued my interest and wondered if anyone knew anything about them?

Never heard of those before, thanks.
Every day is a school day.
A genuine tool watch. Love it.
