Raffe, can I ask if you use Breitling for your battery changes or if you do it yourself or via a local dealer?

Sorry to chip in Joe, but after a bad experience going direct to Breitling for a battery change I ended up using STS who were cheaper, and their service is outstanding.

I only have a couple of Breitling left after bad servicing experiences, (including being asked to pay Ł500 for repair of a three week old quart watch that stopped.)

I have an emergency 2 but liked the size of the emergency 1. I sold my emergency 1 after they ruined it by polishing the bezel and making it look cheap.

I did it via a local watchmaker. Asked them to replace the watch battery only and not the one for the transmitter, killing two birds with one stone.

    Paid 28 Euros for it.

I'd love to be part of a GTG - I have no watchy friends! Woe is me.

Loving this one at the moment and wearing it as I finish the late shift while WFH...

    Have a good weekend all

Looks fantastic. But I would say that as a fellow PO 2500 owner.

Can I ask what strap this is on?

Seiko SPB259 for another week, still feel this is a great watch for me. Most of my others haven't really had a look in, maybe I should reassess my collection.....

Most of the collections from this period are long forgotten, except for one: the Point series—generally referred to as the “Dot” series among collectors.
With the Point series, Monnier sought to create a tiered system of technical watches, with a specific focus on divers and chronographs.
The three tiers were Red, Gold, and Silver. The distinction between the three tiers is somewhat unclear.
Some believe it to be one of quality, with differentiating factors being things like the type of crystal (e.g. acrylic vs. sapphire), band, and movement finishing.
