Very sad, she was possibly Keith Richards' first real love, but certainly one of his most enduring. We are losing so many from that great time.
R.I.P. Ronnie. Your distinctive voice will live on forever.

OMG...I loved Ronnie since her debut when I was in high school. I just watched a "Be My Baby" video yesterday!

RIP indeed. Brings back memories of the time that I was very young. With my mom in the living room, she singing with the songs to the radio. Me being at the dinner table being home-schooled. I'm sure that the radio wasn't on during 'school hours' but it's all in one memory of the early 60s.
Mind you, my parents and I are (were) Dutch, so hearing my mother sing in a different language was rather odd.

Only a few weeks ago I was playing Phil Spector's Christmas album in which Ronnie features so strongly.

This afternoon on 6Music Craig Charles played her version of Say Goodbye To Hollywood, quite sublime.
