Same for me going to the Bahamas. They’ve just dropped the testing and health visa requirements for vaccinated travellers. So that will save a fair bit of money and worry all being well. I hoped things would change once the US dropped their requirements.

Just booked the sleeper train to Vienna. A tiny bit of a city break followed by some quality time in wine country.

    In the Sotadic Zone, apparently.

Thinking about a week or so in Bratislava in September. Maybe some wee excursions to Budapest and Vienna.

Personally I’ll be spending some time in quality wine country

Yes. Went to Liberty Fabay 5* all inclusive hotel in fethiye over half term and for a family holiday, with two kids aged 7 & 11, it was perfect.

Currently in Hurghada with my kids and both myself and my boy struck down with the dreaded bad stomach and the trots.
Over the worst now though and looking forward to some snorkelling tomorrow.

The medicine they sell at the pharmacy is much better at stopping the runs than a U.K. sourced medicine.

    Holidays 2022

Currently in Costa Blanca and got here without any flight issues, though prices have certainly leapt this year

A product called Antinal if my memory serves correctly.
    I’m going to get some.

It is buffet meals. I’m not sure how long it takes to upset the system, but we were fine with the hotel food for three days, then we visited a waterpark and both myself and my boy ate a burger there. That night we both had the runs. My daughter didn’t eat anything at the waterpark and she’s been fine.
So I’m hoping, it was just down the the burger at the waterpark.

In Crete here and prices haven’t really changed, for the moment, as electricity prices have rocketed (was told 500% but don’t know if that is true or not). Speaking to them they are just accepting lower profit margins as they don’t want to put tourists off.

We are coming here again in October so will be interesting to see what happens.

Then you should be fine, there are no significant changes you might have to worry about I believe.

I am laying on the beach in Mauritius right now, different to my normal holidays but it’s bliss and despite all the doom and gloom, we travelled out from Heathrow T2 and all booked via TUI as we’d seen the resort in Kuoni but TUI was 1/3rd cheaper. All faultless.

There are rumblings that Benidorm hotels are struggling to get enough staff to run the kitchens and cleaning services. I don't go to the place so I am not worried but getting the staff seems to be a world wide problem.

Been pretty fortunate this year, a long weekend in London, a long weekend in Majorca and a week in Fife.
We have a week in a holiday cottage just outside Edinburgh coming up and 10 days in Crete for the October holidays.
The wife likes to get away more often now since she's started working from home due to you know what!!

I don’t think anyone who goes to Benidorm would notice, as long as there’s no shortage of bar staff.
