Still this beauty from Christmas. I didn’t think it would be so versatile

The postman has just delivered a Forstner 1450.

It was primarily bought for the Speedy but I also bought the end links for the Seamaster, and as the Speedy is currently not with me I have dropped it on to the SMP.

Extremely comfortable. Dare I say as comfortable as the original bracelet…

Looks wise? It certainly changes the dynamics of the SMP, but I think it will spend the majority of its time on the Speedmaster.

Well it’s finally arrived after a long wait and I’m liking it a lot. Very comfortable on the dark green’ish strap straight out the box, the black strap is quite firm so will need breaking in.

Not in the same league as that lovely Blancpain just now, but this one is awesome. Put it on for a break in the sun in a different time zone and have kept it on for a week since I got back. In that time it’s stayed within 1spd. Great white on rubber for 2254.50

Afternoon change. Set the time on this against ‘time.is’ on Christmas Day and it’s currently -5sec behind. So much for the 6r35s poor timekeeping!

LTF might end up with one he doesn’t need. Would be tempted to see if he’s up for selling.

They do seem quite rare, especially in the UK. Chrono24 has a small selection for sale but i do wonder how successful the model was for Oris.
I bought mine new in 2004, it's been on a few straps over the years and has been worn mainly as a dress watch.

Ah, I hadn't seen that. I know someone has an Oris Miles rectangular I see in Friday threads from time to time, but hadn't noticed another tonneau!

Yep, got mine in 2005 from Fraser Hart. I've even got the bracelet that I picked up about 6 months later.

It's in km. I did a 22km run this morning. I'm training for an ultra in February.

The watch is a Garmin Forerunner 245M. I have a Fenix 6 Pro on the way to me at the moment.
