Because they’re so good, nobody sells them.
A few weeks ago I decided that I should treat my wonderful wife (who bought me a blue Tudor Pelagos for our enagagement) to a 36mm Black Bay :).
She never had a good watch. I have been raiding forums for a good number of weeks now and have not seen one for sale.
Why are these so thin on the ground? If possible, I'd like to find a minty one rather than have to go through AD.
Because they’re so good, nobody sells them.
The answer may well be to do with the likely more female demographic of ownership versus say the 41. That demographic is more likely to settle on a watch and far less likely to be flipping. My guess.

There are quite a few of the BB 36 S&G in the sales this year with around £1,000 off list if that helps?

Or is 32mm a no go.

it's an overlooked gem IMO. i prefer the design to the 36mm rollies and it seems to wear slightly bigger than the new explorer as well.
the only reason watch forums don't rave over it is the fact that you can actually walk into a store and buy it without an AD making you feel you have to plead with them to sell you something. i mean who would want that??
