    Except for those who employ them.
    Cameras are cheaper, 24/7 and do not give a warning. Your fine goes in the post, the council gets the money without having to pay annual leave and pensions.

    This is the first I’ve heard of this, so unless there is a huge tv campaign I reckon 90% of the people it affects will not know anything about, after all when was the last time we read a Highway Code? Especially pedestrians.

    Absolutely! Speeding is the only thing “enforced” these days because it’s easy and can be done by cameras. Meanwhile, the main causes of accidents (per Government stats) go unchallenged.

    It's all very well being in the right but.....
