New arrival and put onto the last NATO that I had issued to me many moons ago. Looking a bit worse for wear now but I don't care, this sort of watch doesn’t belong on a brand new strap anyway.

Collected this morning from a long overdue service, and on a Rally strap for the winter.

I don't usually wear a dive watch on leather, but I don't get to wear this strap a lot, so:

    Have a good one, everybody!

A wonderful selection this week. Some I've not seen before on the Friday post.

Whilst I really like Zelig's Zenith (try saying that three times quickly), watch of the week is this cracking Enicar. Gorgeous.

    This week's new arrival.

It is very comfortable to wear although I don't think the white tropic suits it. I've seen photos of another on a mesh strap and it looks much better. Perhaps Father Christmas will look kindly on me this year.

    Enjoy your weekend.

Seiko spring drive in the train home from a Xmas gathering. The pubs were quite quiet until 5pm and then it was busy as used to be usual pre Covid. Only my second visit to a pub in the last 12mths so enjoyable but slight disquiet all the same. Stay safe people.

I love it. It's a 35mm case diameter which is small by modern standards, but not by the standards of the 1950's. So you have to manage your expectations in that respect. It's a sensible size for it's purpose.

There were 180 NOS cases. There are 3 x 60 pieces of each version. The first two versions sold out on the first weekend. The third version hasn't been released yet but keep an eye on the AWCO website if you want to be kept in the loop.
