    Baby Dreadnought - strap options

Hi, I snagged one of the Baby Dreadnought 'Polar' a couple of weeks ago because I wanted a tool/diver watch for holidays but have tiny wrists so the usual SKX007/009 are a bit too big.

I haven't even tried to resize the bracelet because it already seems too heavy and I've read it can be a bitch to get the link screws out and I don't want to bugger the bracelet.
So for now, I've popped it on an old black Nato which is a bit cheap and nasty if I'm honest.

I found these Archer straps after someone posted a picture of their Mk1 Dreadnought and wondered if these are OK

What strap have you got your Baby Dreadnought on because 18mm silicone/rubber seems to be a bit thin on the ground.

Barton Straps - large range of silicone straps in 18mm.

Amazon UK supply them as well.

    Baby Dreadnought - strap options

    Grey Nato instead of black?

This is a Mil-Nato Band by Maratac from CountyComm in California:

I have the grey and orange straps in 18mm for the Baby Polar. The hardware is dull matte steel, and the strap lengths are very generous, about 295mm to 300mm.

I have mine on one of these which works quite well.

    Excuse the shiny metalwork.

I'm not entirely sold on wearing it on a NATO. It's already quite a chunky watch and the strap adds a bit more bulk.

Apologies to the boss, as the Baby-D is lovely on its bracelet.

Sadly, I'm not a bracelet kind of guy. Here's mine on a CWC Zulu.

I like this combo, but I always seem to buy 20mm instead of the just as useful 18mm.

Williemays, you're killing it with the grey maratac.

If only they were easily accessible in the UK, does anybody know of a good reasonably priced source for the maratacs over here?

Anyways, back to my baby d shot...
