    Formex adjustable deployant clasp

Has anybody got or had one? They seem a great design but are they durable?

Yes, I bought several of the second generation ones, and they're lightweight and tough - but their real big stand-out benefit is their on-the-fly micro-adjustment.

What I didn't see coming is that I just don't really get-along with deployants - if you do, I doubt you can do better.

Must get around to sticking 'em on SC...

I get on with the one deployant I have, on a Tissot visodate, the butterfly type. However I can't be sure my wrist would fit some of the single fold type. Hmmm.

I’ve got one and it’s superb.

When I’m back in the uk tomorrow, I’ll take some pics and post them.

Few pics of mine, FWIW, since they seem to have stopped making 'em:

Thank you earl. Looks great. How comfy is it and what's your wrist size please?

Never noticed it TBH, it's very light, and obviously adjustable, so effectively not there. And 7.75"

Just picked up an Essence 39mm with both bracelet and leather strap on the deployant. The deployant is incredibly light and comfortable and, at least with the OEM leather strap, the triple layer you get isn't bulky at all (might be different with rubber). You get 'infinite' adjustability, with the result that this strap is the most comfortable I've ever worn.

I unintentionally attached it "Seiko-style", i.e. with the clasp folding away from the 6 o'clock side, but found this gives a better fit on my 6.75in wrist. I can't recommend it enough.

It attaches in the usual way via two studs going through adjacent holes in the strap so I guess the only possible concern could be that the distance between the holes isn't standardised across straps?
