There's no branding on it at all, apart from the logo on the dial.

When I saw it it reminded me a little of the 50 Fathoms Bund a mate had - photo below pinched from Heuerville of the model I mean

The seller actually had three of them, all pretty shabby, and all for £35. The following month the other two were still there - I think one was bought by Flashharry (?) and the last I bought for someone else who had seen mine but couldn't make the meet (I can't actually remember who it was now - it wasn't you, was it JasonM?)

Those were the days - when you could buy a GMT Master II for less than £2k

If you think that is misaligned then never buy a Seiko!

    It isn’t by the way

    Which is why I won’t.
It looks crooked though, but if you don’t think so then it doesn’t matter does it.

    Appropriate watch for todays visitor...

Had a good look around and inside the AW149, very nice aircraft! Flight jolly was cancelled due weather, but will be going for a spin in a couple of weeks all being well.

Been wearing this since it arrived earlier in the week. However, I just got notified that the Breitling SuperOcean 42 will be arriving tomorrow so I’ll enjoy the Seiko on the wrist for a few more hours before swapping. HAGWE!

Squale was the case maker for that Blancpain. Is there a funny shark logo on the caseback by any chance? That certainly looks like a Squale case in all aspects, I'd be very suprised if it isn't one of their cases and they used to supply a ton of brands back in the day.

No logo, just the words "All stainless steel. Swiss made. Waterproof" on the caseback. It may well have been made by Squale - as you say, they supplied cases to a lot of companies back then.

    Friday 12th of November

    Change after work.

As my 6306 has returned from the legendary Duncan Hewitt (Watchbloke), it seemed wrong not to

    This all week.

Just back from a short break, so 30+ watches removed from the safe, wound up, times and dates set etc. then placed back in display boxes, winders etc. Hmmm, too many watches methinks!

A crap end to a crappy week and I am not entirely sure that it is over.

Wearing this beauty for most of this week has certainly helped.

    Enjoy your weekend.
