    SOTC: Winter 2021 >>>

Here is my set as of November 2021.

    Omega X33 MK2
I have had multiples of this watch - this I think is my third. This is the Millspec one and a bit special without an engraving on the case back. I completed the set with the Ti bracelet.

    Rolex YM40 RG
Super special and paid retail for this one in 2020 with the new 126655 and glydlock clasp. The everrose gold is lovely and this will not be going away soon.

    Rolex Submariner 41mm
Offered this by my dealer so how could I resist. It's a no date submariner - not much to add really.

    Patek Philippe Annual Calendar 5146J
Bought in memory of my mums passing and probably the star in the collection. Very special and often worn in the most incongrouse locations. Love it to pieces.

    Rolex Air-King-Date
This is a family heirloom as it was my fathers watch and will be passed down. The smallest in my collection and doesn't get enough wrist time as no quick set date drives me nuts and I don't want to strain the movement.

    Vacheron Constantin Overseas 4500V Blue
Great versatile watch with 3 strap / bracelet combination. 41mm with no bezel se wears a little large. Colour is superb! These seem to have gone stratospheric on price since purchase.

    Omega NTTTD LE on Ti
Just arrived so wearing this a lot. I think will fit well into the little collection. Wanted it for quite a while but wasn't in a position to buy until recently. Loving it.

    Rolex Sub 116610LV "Hulk"
Sold this one bought again at above retail - don't plan to sell anytime soon. I love a bit of green to add something different and with the 3135 movement I can expect rock solid performance for many years to come.

Collection is a Rolex heavy and I have space for one more in the collection without kicking out any of these. What next - maybe replace the Zenith Chronomaster Sport?? But quite fancy a Zenith again.

Thanks for looking. (no watches were hurt in the picture and no cases were not actually touching!)

Martyn, I think someone might have stuck a bezel on your VC whilst your back was turned!

The SD is a beauty, wonderful equal patina all over. Was this a 666 by chance?

I don’t work on the car - but I wear which ever is on my wrist when digging the garden, beekeeping and so forth. I would not wear the Patek or X33 in the pool but the others are all fair game.

The SD was a beautiful 666 - should have shot myself before trading that one …

Here is a lume shot (gives you an idea anyway)

    Great stuff Martyn

Out of interest has your move abroad changed your collecting plans or general all day wear?

In that case, I guess the only thing left to say is that is probably the most impressive set of beater watches I've ever seen :-)

I think you have space for another chronograph Martyn, Breguet XXI?

Not really. I tend now to wear one watch for a week or two then switch over. I don’t have to fit in with office wear now - so can wear a sport or casual watch with no problem. No one cares what you wear here.

    Amazing collection.
Being a sub lover, I will let go the Sub 41 and get something more unseen.
The YM and the Hulk got your base covered on that...
