I'll try and dig out my Schuhren for a pic.

Dealing with Andy in 2013 was one of the most pleasurable watch buying experiences of my life.

    Top bloke.

    Cheers,

    Martin

Right up my street. I have not come across this before. It reminds me very much of my IWC Portugieser, which I love. What is the background to these Schuhren watches? How much would this have cost?

I think the price was about 500-600 £ at that time.
Google schuhren watch, there are still some info aboute it. Lots of tz’ers have bought one.

Lets see them, if you still got them

I remember these, I believe they were Kemmner parts. I had one of Andy's watch travel boxes back in the day but never pulled the trigger on a watch

They still look great, it's a shame Andy decided to pack it in as is pick one up now

    Here’s mine.

Came originally on a lovely brushed and polished bracelet with solid endlinks.

    She’s a beaut!

That is lovely. I have never seen that model before. What is the name of this model? It looks like we got the same strap, mine is from watchgecko.

    Talking

    Hello,

    It was a bespoke project.

From memory, I picked the dial, hands, crown, crystal etc from him and Andy put it together.

He engraved the back with the kids names and put my initial on the crown.

The bracelet is somewhere but it's currently on a Chris Ward leather strap.

I googled Schuhren watches and my gushing post from 2009 came up (not 2013 as previously stated).

I was obviously very happy at the time!

    Cheers,
    Martin
