+1 for JustPark. I work from home, but when visiting spots in London or other cities and I can't be arsed with guessing capacity of a car park when I get there, its nice to be able to easily book a space.
RingGo is very good just enter number displayed on pay machine.
It knows the timings so stops you overpaying when fees end at certain time of day.
Small surcharge added to parking fee but I value the convenience and allows payment by Apple Pay.

Another +1 for just park. I also use 'Your Parking Space'. Between the 2 of them you can usually find a space where you need to. Only ever had an issue once where we parked on someones drive only to return a few hours later to find a polite notice on the windscreen asking us not to park on his drive. Turned out we had in fact parked in the wrong place (confusingly there were houses and a block of flats that had similar numbers in 2 Streets that were named similarly and were next to each other. Anyway knocked on the guys door to apologise, he was great and said it happened often and both of us reported it to just park (he had no idea about the concept up till that point) - the confusing listing was removed pretty sharpish.

Used Parkopedia for years, very useful:

They also have a smartphone app.
AppyParking for London when you don't want to pay and display. Lets you know the hours of pay and display, single yellows etc.
Cheers all and sorted with Just Park, it works very well.

Never used it but for those with a ev this might be of use

All useless when there is no signal
Cheers again fellas.
The Just Park App has a EV toggle which is a nice touch, the park I found has a 7kw for a tenner for 24 hours which although not cheap does make travel complete effortless.

The most irritating thing is there does not seem to be a single app that works across the various pay and display payment portals. Pay and display in my area uses PayByPhone as did Conwy when we were there in the summer. Just got back from Cornwall and in St Austell it was another app not yet mentioned above. The meter only took coins too so I had to go off and buy something just to get change for it!
