Just wondering if any of you have found any cool watch winders out there, anything a bit more industrial or fun as compared to the regular brown wood box with cream leather winder. Also just in general looking for recommendations on good quality mid level watch winder brands that offer great bang for the buck.

Not cool, but quite practical

I'd hate to be with you when you're on your own.
Picked up the gyroscope winder and while it is nice it struggles a bit with the weight of my timex T2M514 automatic stainless steel bracelet.
You can see it it drop at certain points of the winding so i guess the torque is not great.
Also it takes a while to put any power into the spring compared to the wolf winder and a cheap chinese winder.
Nevertheless it works and provides a gentler winding then the other winders i have.
Some well placed pieces of cloth or cape cod and it will polish as it winds, well at least until the watch falls into the mechanism and gets chewed up

I’ve made my views clear in the past regarding watchwinders and the potential for accelerating wear to the watch movement, so I don’t intend to repeat them.
This device is a cyclotester, designed for the testing of freshly serviced watches, it is NOT suitable for use as a watchwinder. This device will wear the inner walls of the mainspring barrel out, make no mistake about that.
I use one to check the functioning of the automatic winding and to estimate the rate when the watch is in motion.
