I hear where you are coming from and have been considering sending the old 93160 off for refurb as it's a wee bit strecchhed having been in the water with me for a large part of its life!

It's a lovely watch. I once had a 16600 and loved it but had to move it on as I was convinced it was too small for me. Having seen this though I could have been wrong!

Thx! The early 'dwellers are always easy on the eye and appreciate the crap strap comment, but it really doesn't bother me.
Without going into too much detail, I can assure you that this watch has done some grunt during it's existence and I think it's great that it is still ticking along and keeping good time!

Don’t see many of these and certainly not in that condition. Member egypt5 from Glasgow brought one of those along with him when we were meeting to conclude a sale. I came away with a Breitling Transocean 7102 chrono, but it was his Omega that made a lasting impression on me.

Apparently only 500 of these were made. 150 in 1972 and another 300 in 1976. About 50 we’re distributed as gifts.
