Not seen too much advertised about the recently released Hamilton Khaki Pilot. Inspired by the original Model 23 pocket watch made for the USAF in WW2, 38mm with bi directional bezel, and oversized crown. Houses a modified version of the ETA 2801-2. Must say I’m quite drawn to it..........
Initial release is via Hodinkee @ $995.00 but is due for a general roll out. Might pick one up when they become available in the UK.
Huge fan of Hamilton but not sure if the fauxtina is a little strong on this one, may look better in real life of course.

Really like Hamilton but their prices are creeping up a bit aren't they?
That's the same movement and similar 38mm case as the Khaki Field watches and you can get one of those for about £300.
I like the look of that and a good size at 38mm. I just wish Hamilton would put a solid back on their watches like Longines. I'd much prefer a decent case-back than an attempt to show off an unfinished ETA stock movement.
It’s a nice looking watch but to say inspired by the model 23 is pushing it a bit.
Other than a passing resemblance in the typeface used, I can’t see much of the inspiration.
I have to say I rather like this watch, a hodinkiee 'opening period of global exclusivity' though?
Hopefully it will appear in the UK for purchase later this year.

A very nice looking watch and a nice size too
Worth noting that Amex currently have 8% cashback on the app when purchasing through the Hamilton website. Valid until 11/01/22.
Wow that is another interesting set of cathedral hands I could actually wear!
And a good size too

Good size, love the textured dial and even the fauxtina, but not the choice of hands..
I like this one too, if only they did it a little smaller
I should be getting one of these fairly soon.
Assuming that is that the forum member who buys it new gets the no-subseconds version before selling it on to me at half retail price or less in due course.
