    Novice question (deploy clasp).

I should know better, but just had this (genuine) strap and clasp fitted to my Tag Heuer 6000 and am unable to adjust the length.
Have tried the obvious flicking the clasp end up to allow the strap to slide through, but it doesn’t want to move and I don’t want to force it.
Am I missing something or should I just have an extra Weetabix ? IMG_2436.JPG

I'm not familiar with this strap/clasp and I can't quite see in the photos, but....

Usually the adjustable side of a deployant uses the holes in the strap to anchor itself but I can't see any holes in your strap. Does it have any?

It very much looks to me (as far as I can see from the photos) as if what would be the adjustable side is fitted to the strap in an unusual way, as if the strap is sewn or shaped around it.

It might be your strap isn't long enough given the video.

I've never seen that method of attaching a deployant before.

Do you have a photo of the other end of the deployant? That is where the other strap attaches.

It all made sense for me when I looked at the video linked by Strnglwhank.

It attaches by conventional spring bar on what would normally be the buckle side of the strap like any other deployant.

But the other side that would normally anchor itself using the strap holes doesn't need holes and I don't think the proprietary strap actually has any holes. Instead the deployant is anchored by the strap on that side folding back on itself through the deployant attachment.

Yes, quite straightforward; I should have bothered to view the video first!

As Judy’s husband used to say, that’s the way to do it.

    Thanks TZ.
