Are you sure it wasn't something to do with the one handed mode. The mode where the screen is brought down, so you can reach the top while holding the phone at the bottom?

    Mine arrived on Saturday.
Judging by eBay, lots of other people have theirs too.

Anyone else had the January update?
I might be imagining it but I don't think I am - fingerprint unlock is much improved, quicker and more reliable.

Has anyone noticed a drop in battery life after the latest update? I'm not sure if I'm imagining it.

No issue with mine either. In fact, the phone has been excellent, I wanted it for the camera which has exceeded expectations. Seems to be plenty of disgruntled owners around though

The only gripes I have with mine are that I lost the first one I bought after 3 weeks of ownership so I had to buy a replacement.

And the fingerprint sensor is a step backwards

    Apart from that, it's fantastic

The fingerprint unlock is (I feel) improved by the last update but still not as reliable as the one that was on the back of my Pixel 3XL.
I also preferred the placement on the back when I'm hand-holding the phone but then I prefer the placement on the front when it's in the cradle in my car. Can't have both I suppose.

I ordered a highly regarded Peel ultra thin case from the US but ordered 6 not 6 Pro

Cost me 43 dollars , yours posted for 26 quid of you want it

It's light and thinnner than Spiggen and Google cases

    Love mine

Yes, it's a bit buggy, but really only the reviewers that play with their phones everyday notice, I notice the odd glitch.

Will certainly be getting the Pixel 7

The extremely frustrating fingerprint unlock is only marginally better than when I first bought it, although it works well unlocking apps.
The camera is great but would I upgrade to the Pixel 7 when it’s released?
I’d hand over my money faster than Prince Andrew in a New York courthouse!

    Fundamentally I'd like to see the following improvements for the 7 to consider staying with Pixel all together;

    - Better unlock interface, the underscreen fingerprint is a constant 50/50 chance of working.

    - More size variants for both, or at least the pro, even the standard 6 is already on the large side.

I'm an android user, yet I've never been closer to considering an iPhone given the Android choices on the market today.

Current unlock method is unusable. You just know this was raised over and over again in internal meetings and the people speaking up were battered and silenced.

Pathetic when you consider the Pixel 4 had face unlock and the 5 had a finger print reader in the perfect place. What a leap backwards. OnePlus territory.

For the 5p it would have cost them they should have added a finger print reader on the 6. I’d still have one if they did.

Currently on an iPhone for the first time since 2017 and while it isn’t as good as the 2 and 3 were in their day it’s certainly better than the 6 for me. Wish I could customise keyboard size like I could on the pixel though, would have less typos and autocorrects.
