    My wife of 24 years and us being together for 30+ years is from London. As are my family. We weighed it all up several decades ago and decided against that dump and have never looked back since; yes, we might have been a fair bit more asset rich, but I would much rather live where I do with a nice outlook, a large drive and everything I want at less money than a flat in East Ham I am guessing.

    As an aside here is a Zapmap view of a 2.5 mile radius showing the local public chargers. Yellow will be slow chargers (3-5 KW/H), Blue will be fast chargers (7-22 KW/H) and purple will be superfast chargers (50KW/H and above). Not too shabby

    £300pm for a parking space is daylight robbery.

    TBH with an EV and an EV charging point, I struggle to see how anybody could blame you for parking in the nearest available public EV charging space.
