You're only going to dig a big hole this way...
(and you need to post this in the George) ;)
Hey guys, well I have had numerous comments about speed posting to hit 250. This is not the case I thought I would get involved more and make more of an effort to get to know people and have a chat.
Surprisingly there is nothing for sale in the sales section from me and with ebay having 80% off fees why would I speed post to list a watch on here when I could simply sell it on there so any one accusing me of this please explain your accusation as it makes no sense to me?

Haha trust me to post it in the wrong place 🤣
I think I need to get my point across buddy as people are accusing me and I haven't done anything wrong 🙄
Honest answer is that it always looks suspicious when someone races around the 250-post mark with that rate of posts. When Sales Corner relies on trust so much, a subversive attempt to get access to sell quickly never goes down well...it's all about how the community safeguards itself. As for why SC might be better than eBay? Fees might not be that high when using one of their offers, but a dubious seller could potentially offload a watch "sold as seen" on SC and walk away with a members money versus a system on eBay that won't allow this.
No reflection on you at all but just giving some explanation.
No one is accusing you of anything but as you’ve been here for five years and posted nearly 10% of all your posts within the last two hours, is it any wonder that people may be asking questions?
You’ve already crapped out 24 posts this morning. It’s overwhelming. Plus there’s no nutritional value to what you’re crimping out.
No problem I totally understand this system but certain members are already accusing me of this when I haven't even posted in the sales corner and have no intention to.
I know its not aimed at me buddy but just clear things up I would never rip anyone off and have lots of good feedback on TWF with over 2200 posts just to straighten things out with certain members.
I don't want to make this into s big argument with my members I just wanted to clear things up for certain suspicious people making accusations that aren't true 🙄
I wouldn’t usually call someone who has been a member for over 5 years a speed poster but 24 (and counting) posts today alone is quite a lot.
Just saying.
Cheers,
Ben

Most of them are defending myself 🙄
You may have acquired 250 posts now, but don't you call me buddy, son.
Got a new watch, divers watch it is, had to drown the bastard to get it!
why care what strangers on a forum think for starters?
you may not intend to sell but what about buy?
I have already bought around 7 watches over the years from here as I still had access to buying so should have good feedback 🙂
Fifty posts to buy, he’s had that plenty long enough.
OP, it’s probably best to just let this drop and let your actions speak for you. You can say what you like and try to defend yourself but you’ve nothing to defend yourself against.
As mentioned previously, speed posting around 250 raises suspicions which get highlighted whether you end up posting something for sale is irrelevant.
OK good advice that's the end of it from me I have made my point about being an honest poster if people don't believe me that's on them 🙂
in which a guy who just posted 50+ pointless one-liners during the past 24 hours says that he after having been a member for 5 years, just discovered his love for pointless one-liners.
Someone who lies about the little things will lie about the big things too.
Yeah pretty much just like this one liner 🤣

Can you please tell me how you do that with images I can't get it to work!!?
Not suggesting that you are not being truthful - just that your perception is flawed. I'd sell on TZ any day of the week, rather than distance sell on ebay with the chance that the buyer may pull a fast one with a fake, claiming it was the watch I sold/sent him. A good way of losing a few £thousand - I sense.
That is an extremely good point that has never crossed my mind of someone actually doing that, is that a common oxcurance on ebay by the buyer?

Ohhh that's why it won't show. Thanks wileeeeey
Not saying you are OP but posting loading like you have been in the last 24 hours does raise suspicions, its not just SC, its the behaviour of a banned/ousted member accessing his sleeper account to regain BP/SC access.
I'm sure all is square and correct with you but just be patient, as the forum is self moderating members will get twitchy when post loading, its not personal..
Just realised, my post count has slowed recently - but what to do?

How many minutes were between you getting access to SC and listing a watch?
I thought you were all being mean but...
Paraphrasing the whole thread and possibly day;
*Please, please, stop being nasty to me. I’m just here for the craic. Absolutely not desperate to sell anything at all. Why would I do that when I can do it so much easier elsewhere?*
What a joke of a man.

Can I start a thread about slow posting?
Cracking performance, almost textbook in how not to get on with people around here. The saying “buy the seller” applies in this case so I think you’ve wasted your time writing all those nonsense posts! At least it gave everyone a bit of entertainment.
Another one bites the duster (added to the naughty step).
