    Favourite color dial?

Hey guys alot of watches I look at always seem to be white or blsck dials. I am a big softie for a nice red dial!!

Anyone else like a bright dial or is it just me haha?

I'm partial to a blue dial but if I could only have one it would be black, more versatile.

I love that red dial with a red strap combo!!

I do like a dark blue dial to if I'm honest.

Got to be black for me. If I could only have one watch, it would have a black dial.

I am partial to a blue dial, closely followed by white. (but no pictures of the white on my phone)

And then some more black. Toyed with blue once but didn’t work for me. Had a couple of white dials but they’ve gone too.

I'm a sucker for black dials, but funnily when it comes to Doxa, the orange dialed Professional is the go for colour

    White or black.
I really like blue dials but find them a bit of a clash if im wearing black, which is a regular occurrence.

Apparently if someone sould put a pillow over your face, thus suffocating you, your blood turns blue
Job Done. Unless of course it’s just an urban myth.

More likely to be an urban myth, either way, I don't intend on experimenting to find out :)

That is a fantastic colour! Don’t suppose there is a non-date version?

Yes, the colour is sweet isn't it ? It changes with the viewing angle too. I don't believe they do a non date version if I recall......

Surprisingly blue gets alot of love 😄 I think black goes well with any outfit so maybe the reason it's the most popular haha

Black for me… but! I currently don’t own any black dial watches which is odd.

Call me old fashioned but I quite like some of the coloured Rolex Oyster Perpetuals - especially the yellow and the Turquoise. Whether they look good in the flesh and whether the appeal would last, I don’t know.

Black is more practical but I prefer wearing a watch with a blue dial.

I'm also partial to a nice grey dial, the hands have to be contrasting though...

Cream or silver sunburst on a dress watch for me.

    Black on sports.

That said I also like tropical, and polar... oh dear I’m not sure now...? 🤔

I'm a bit of a minimalist. A white dial, applied hour markers with just the right amount of black. The 16570 is one of the best to ever do it IMO.

  46. #46
I have a fondness for any shade of Blue, black would be my second option.

It's a strange one as it's possibly my least owned over the years, but I think it would be grey. It just looks so right on a watch face.

Like most I suspect I've owned an absolute ton of black dials which you can never go wrong with, plenty other colours too. Of my current collection my grey dialed Airking date is the most striking dialwise.
