    My grandfather's Religious art.

My grandfather sadly passed away in 1989 and my mother has just given me some of his rather crude, religious comical artwork that he created on the 1970's.

Being that he passed away over 30 years ago, I doubt he ever thought his art would be seen by many others, but I think they are absolutely brilliant and deserve to shared.

READS: 'Helen of Troy, the face that launched a thousand ships afterwards. Today it's Champagne.

I hope you like them too. :)

Now I just have to find a place to hang them.

The Samson picture is amazing, very " industrial".

They are a lot of fun. Love Samson being knackered.

Certainly different and have a particular charm! Nice family heirlooms.

There have been a lot of quite accomplished and successful artists in my family (we are related to Turner way back), although the gene clearly skipped me.

I do have a number of pieces from ancestors which have been handed down, and are lovely to have, but sadly not one of JMW’s.
So clever my foot fell off.

Even Judas's silver is the correct 30 pieces, your grandfather was a man with an eye for detail I'd have thought.
