Thread: New shoes for this bad-boy

    New shoes for this bad-boy

Ha ha! Love that phrase. It used to be used so often on other forums, and was roundly hated here!
So glad I can throw it back in the mix now I have some genuine new shoes for this genuine badboy:
After many years of missing out, then a WTB recently answered - I have one of my absolute favourite watches on new Geckota green suede shoes… and i am grinning like the proverbial

    A good pairing, strangely.

Ah yes, I remember that phrase. Along with the other old classic ‘I walked into my Rolex AD and bought a watch’

    The good old days…

With a dial like that I think the strap is irrelevant.
    Cheers,

That would be a fine addition to the stable, wear it in good health.

That's certainly different given the absence of green on the dial but it does kind of work and it did make me smile, which is what it's all about. Lovely to see it

Yeh, had pondered on that, and nearly chickened out and bought the Grey suede - but turned out better than I thought (IMO of course!)

I will wear this minty badboy in good health, as they say

I really like that watch. Every time I see it, I wish I had one. The strap is great too, pretty oddball but that’s the vibe with the watch head too, great pairing!
