I found the diameter of the black bay OK it was more the height and case design I didn't like as much. If it had been 12-13mm high it would have been a closer choice.
If money was no object I'd have got the blue version too!

Congrats, it is a beautiful thing. I had one back in release year (2018?) and loved it. Wore it on a brown Brown Bulang and Son leather strap, but it equally suited the nato that it came on.

I'm a one watch guy now though with IWC xv but will pick up a '58 again once I can justify it. I don't think there is another watch for the price that beats it on looks or specs. But if Tudor did an updated Ranger with the '58 movement i'd be all over it.

agreed, the BB Harrods is my daily wearer but when I put it on after wearing the 58 (gold on nato), feels quite heavy on the wrist. I'm waiting for the bronze and the new chrono, which is also 41, maybe I'll feel better when I try it on !

Not the best picture but gives an idea of the thickness of the two watches.

So far I've found the bracelet very comfortable and managed to get a good fit which I know some people have struggled with. However I didn't wait long to pick up a few straps.
One Pav strap (darkest brown) purchased from the forum (thanks Graham!) and two from Watch Gecko. The Pav strap is so soft and the quality is clear so I think thats the winner for now.

How do you like the gold ? I think it looks amazing, but not sure I could justify the price point at the moment.

I picked up my 58 bronze and tried the gold, and initially the case colour did look quite similar

One of 3 Luff straps that I bought.
Really comfy and half the price of an Erika Strap.
