I use whatsapp because you aren’t accidentally going to get stung with SMS costs. The number of times I’ve sent a picture on iMessage only to realise my phone sent it as a picture message and I get stung with a 50p charge each picture!

Twitter at least is just a few very vocal folks - I don't know that it's as broadly damaging as Facebook. But if FB died, someone else would immediately fill that profitable gap...

Too true Barney, I think FB is the primary enemy here. Twitter gave Trump a platform though so it's more than just a few vocal folks.
Happy for IG & FB to stay down forever, but annoyingly WhatsApp is my main method of communication.
