The Hennie Haynes edition UKPK is S30V, but is a better design. (But they may be sold out)

Edit: actually just seen it appears sold out, so my sarcastic link was probably not merited

I’ve got the cricket - it’s awesome to have on my key ring all SS too

So it's basically a lockback without the lockback and 2x the price of a lockback in order to conform to UK carry laws

Looks nice, but not at that price. Would stick with a nice slipjoint/folder if he's just looking for a regular EDC

To be fair it's a nice blade material that you're paying a premium for. You can get the same knife much cheaper if you don't opt for S110V.

Tell him to do himself a favour and get an Enzo PK70 instead.

The Spyderco UKPK is a toy knife.

I had an Enzo PK70. I returned it the day after it arrived.

It’s impossible to open using one hand. And when it’s closed the back of the blade (90 degree angle) catches on pockets etc. A nice looking thing but useless.

The best edc knife I own is the Spyderco Urban.

    There’s also the Boker Wasabi
Superb fidget knife and razor sharp. UK legal too.

I'm curious also. My Delica has been a 30 year EDC
