Bloody hell are Eddie , can you stop producing such nice stuff.

I can see myself adding this to the Caribbean I bought a few weeks ago. Let’s hope the production takes a while so I can save my pennies

That looks great. My only complaint of my Dreadnought GMT is that the seconds hand, being black, is hard to spot immediately on a black dial. This addresses that...

Not feeling that italicized and long dial text but aside from that, looks great.

Ideal timing, I was looking at the original last week regretting not getting one when they were released! White dial looks brilliant.

That does seem a bit like saying you don't like the crown logo on a Rolex.

The font is consistent with all the other Dreadnoughts.

I like the look of the polar white dial.
The lume looks more yellow in the image. Is this the standard c1or 3 ?

I was wondering if there were going to be any more baby Dreadnoughts. I'll join the queue for this one then.

There are more Polar photos on the site:

I bet this would look great on an orange NATO strap.

    My thoughts too!

Am tempted to already put up a wanted thread for one!

I’m heading to Sheffield later today, Eddie can I pick one up today haha! (If only)

I'd have to agree, on the black dial model the seconds hand could really do with being white and as you have said, you just can't make it out against the dial.

I disagree. For me the black seconds hand disappears against the dial, giving a less cluttered look and the effect of the seconds baton floating around. The only time I might need to reference the seconds hand is when setting the watch or checking it's timekeeping, and even then it only takes a nanosecond to locate it.

Really? The first thing that hooked me on to automatics is the sweeping second hand, and I still find pleasure in glancing at them. I use seconds hands to time intervals of 90-120s in various activities when the smartphone & it's stopclock aren't nearby.

Thank you, I've now got my reason why I've now got both! (GMT and Polar)

Ah now you see, if I want to time things then I'll use either my PRS-5 Broadarrow or Damasko DC56. ;-)

I’ve gone for erika’s original mn strap as I love them black with grey line and then orange stitches
