    Seiko sla017 bracelet on sla043

Does anyone have the sla017 bracelet? I’m wondering if it’s a close colour match for the ever brilliant steel of the sla043?
    Cheers,
    Mick

Someone did this and posted over on WUS a while back, I was interested as I have the 043, it didn't look that close a match TBH.

The bracelet seems like an afterthought to me, although I would like to put mine on a nice Staib mesh bit the 19mm lug sizing puts pay to that.

Yeah it’s the only niggle I have with the watch. Wish there was an option of a high quality bracelet with fitted end links

    017 is Dia-shield coated.

043 case is made of the new ever brite steel, so definitely a colour difference.

Exactly, and the colour of that 316L steel in the bracelet is probably a closer match to the ever bright steel case of the 043 rather than the diashield steel of the 017.

Would anyone be able make fitted end links?

You're making me spend money Mick...I've just ordered one of these in 19mm (https://www.watchgecko.com/beads-of-...el-watch-strap), it tapers down to 16mm so it should be quite comfortable. I've had to order some skinny 19mm spring bars with the Seiko 1.1mm tips from the US in order to get the correct fit.

With the "WELCOME" code it comes in at £52, so well worth a punt.

I'll post some pics when it arrives.
