Using Fiverr services - Any advice previous experience?

I'am possibly looking to employ someone from Fivverr who is experienced with my wordpress website and the theme I use, while I can edit the website myself I feel I dont have the design eye of a good website builder.

I have read good things about employing someone from Fiverr but of course research is needed and I wondered if anyone here has had any experience with Fiverr?

Well worth considering Filipino virtual assistants also.

Yes, I have read good things about VA's as long as they are legitimate, thats not really what I need for this gig although for social media posts/promotion they can be well worth it..

I have used Fiverr once to do some image processing work that was well outside my abilities (vector conversion) and whilst the person did the job, it wasn’t a great experience with constant begging for a “tip” or a bonus (which I actually did give them) and when I had a follow up question the response was “that’s not included”.

So I would certainly recommend that you very clearly specify and agree what the scope of work is before you commit to anything.

What a clown. If possible I would have updated the review to include the after sales part.

In my experience the quality has been ‘cheap and cheerful with web designers on fiverr.

I’ve used it, some good some poor.

I have found issues with the language barrier in some cases.

I’d use again but expect to write off some off the work.

Used it with mixed results - some Photoshop, some web design (good), and brainstorming ideas (not so good)
