Are all the Canada geese off to skeggy?

Hundreds of them coming over our house this evening wave after wave. It's like the attack on cologne. All heading east. Never seen or heard anything like it.

We get hundreds, possibly thousands around us every year, they gather at Kinross feeding up before heading off for the winter, there is a statue of geese at the entrance to the town recognising their annual visit.
