Very fortunate that some buyers knew what it was - all's well and that but I'd not be too pleased with the auctioneers for valuing it at £600. Surely if asked to sell a house full of Chinese artifacts they'd find a specialist to value?
A similar pot sold recently for £32 million, so the buyer can probably flip it at Christie’s for a huge profit
