I think it’s a bit pony to be honest
    It’s a bit ‘full kit w@nk#r’.
I can imagine them being worn by a greasy rotund chap on his gin palace surrounded by super models…
God I wish that was me.

This , as he raises his glass of gin to the man who gave him the knowing nod as he too was sporting the same top.

    Horrific.

    Interesting one....

On the one hand some of the designs are actually pretty good and dare I say 'tasteful' but I still wouldn't buy or wear one.

Trouble is the link with the source subject will always bring with it some unwanted attention and assumptions about the wearer even if they are wrong or just stereotypes.

Best to just head down to TK Maxx and buy the discounted Polo t-shirts and be done with it!

Precisely. I also think the same of any item of clothing that bears the name or brand of a car you own.
So clever my foot fell off.

Really?? My Morris Ital polo shirt is a clear sign for muggers? Good job I don’t wear my Vanden Plas Princess baseball cap.

50/50 I like some of the obscure designs, like this - https://en.incasodivintage.com/Colle...s/mill-t-shirt

It’s okay if you don’t own the marque in question?

    Ask yourself this question.

You're on holiday and you see someone wearing that shirt on the next table.

Are you more or less likely to hide your watch in case they try to strike up a conversation?

Horrible. For people who think brands make them look well off and maybe more desirable to the opposite or same sex whilst walking about in sandals and socks and a Rolex shirt or cap and a yacht master but don’t even own a boat:)

TBF I think this one works:

To the rest of the world outside the tiny sample of TZ or WUS, it's just an interesting geometric design on an organic T-shirt.

The others should never see the light of day

Still pretty naff in my opinion - especially if it is a high-end marque.
So clever my foot fell off.

I think the date wheel design and the fiddy tshirt look ok but everything else looks a bit over the top. If the designs were smaller and subtle, may have appealed. The prices seem a bit ambitious but that’s me being tight.

I actually bought one of the less offensive designs, sent it back. Really cheap feeling, thin material - nothing to write home about. Felt like about 10 quids worth of t shirt but cost £30+

    The latter.

EDIT: massively overpriced and, presumably, barely legal profiteering from designs that belong to others. Reeks of class - not!

^Agreed. They'd go well with some horizon-blue stay-creased action slacks.

Well, I dropped my bike off yesterday for some work, and then went to a party at the adjacent Harley dealership, wearing a Triumph T-shirt

    Tough audience here!

I'd suggest the vast majority of the public wouldn't associate many - if any - of those prints with a watch, let alone a specific watch manufacturer:

So it's just car brands then?

I have a modern classic car that is often featured on clothing, sometimes just a thin outline with the sport division colours so it’s not obvious or too tacky what it is, but I still can’t bring myself to own such clothing.

While I would be considered a middle age man I don’t want to associate myself with some of the poor taste other 40/50 somethings wear, the cringe level of branded apparel can way exceed 10.

The main problem for this type of clothing is the main brand is not clothing associated, once it crosses that line you look like nerd who would bore the crap out of you talking about said brand - tragic..

Each to their own. I sold the Bremont cap I got as a freebie for buying a Bremont watch and I can’t see myself in a any Rolex apparel, but do have Porsche and Lotus clothing including a couple of very cool IMO 956 T-shirts signed by Derek Bell and Jackie Ickx.

That’s is the first example of profiteering associated with Bremont I have heard of… (only joking)
