I’ve never heard of a silicone wedding band, sounds a bit ridiculous tbh. Won’t it look like you’re wearing an o ring that came in a plastic bag of 20 for £1?

Looking to see if anyone has any experience with wearing/owning and silicone wedding ring?
Due to my work and hobbies I have been looking into getting one to replace my Cobalt wedding band. The problem is there are so many to chose from with a very wide range of prices. Why would I spend £40 over £6 for a piece of rubber?
Any thoughts and recommendations?

Tattoe your finger
This is my worry, although silicone wedding rings are apparently a thing.
I struggle with my current wedding ring in the gym, my work, bouldering etc, but if I take it i have to carry a stick with me to beat off all the ladies . I thought this would be easier.

I gave up wearing mine years ago. It always got in the way, and I was forever trying not to damage it. I’m left handed which doesn’t help. I can’t wear anything jewellery wise except for a watch, although I did enjoy wearing the ring as a sign of our marriage. 25 years married this year but only the first 15 wearing a ring!
Mine no longer fits so might get it re-sized to wear on special occasions.

Pretty common offshore.
An ex-US Marine Harrier pilot friend of mine lost his ring finger whilst rapidly egressing a Harrier aircraft with a ground fire having got his wedding ring caught on the cockpit edge. He now wears a silicone wedding ring on his right hand.
Would one of these work?
