When they say "shock protected", "antimagnetic" etc on the dial you can bet it's a pin pallet movement inside.
It’s a Veranda Swiss Made 17 jewel oddity which boasts antimagnetic, shockproof and waterproof amongst its USP. I believe it’s a jump hour - beyond that I can’t find any further information. It’s been sat in a drawer for about 20 odd years. I have kept it all these years as I’m just intrigued by it!

The can be called "digital" or "direct read". You may find exactly the same model with different names on the dial. As Neil said, they are pin-pallet and worth very little.
