New leaked photos have just surfaced on Instagram. Fixed lugs, engraved case back, no date and fully graduated bezel.

WR looks to be 200m (?) so I would hazard a guess that the case is smaller and thinner as a result.

I thought we saw these photos a while back, there was some doubt about their veracity at the time.

    Damn... that's a winner.

Interesting. In the pictures it looks like there might be drilled lugs.

Thereís no drilled lugs, the strap bar is fixed - as in part of the structure of the case, meaning no spring bars, which obviously means drilled lugs would be pointless.

I love the original Pelagos but have always held off because of its thickness. Not fussed about this version personally.

I am looking forward to seeing what will be released. I was originally a doubter and thought it was a photoshopped image.
I am sure it will not replace my 7016 or 1st gen Pelagos but any watch that takes inspiration from the original snowflakes has my attention. I am sure it will be very sought after.

I have been wonderng what combo would tempt me to get one, and I am still undecided.
However, if, as seems likely, it is a reduced size no-date Pelagos with a fully indexed bezel, it is likely to get the nod from me.

Strap bars are integrated with the case - interesting design

  14. #14
Yeah I know, was wondering if the end product ended up coming with springbars and drilled lugs instead but I think itís just a scratch.

If that is a drilled lug, that would be a rather far in and low down position for it? The strap also doesn't appear to be running anywhere near where the spring bars would be. I agree with the scratch/damage idea.

The AD I use for Tudor confirms the watch as per the David Beckham leak.

I assume it can only be worn on a nato.

Rubber also. Not sure how it attaches though. That intrigued me

I would be very interested if this becomes a new model in the Pelagos range

    I can't tell if I like it.

The fixed lugs will really limit strap options - especially for what I imagine will not be a particularly cheap watch
The fully graduated bezel is a really nice touch
No need for snowflake hand as Tudor have over done them by now.

    Just imagine if they had done a Tudor Milsub;
    Sword hands
    Fully graduated ceramic bezel
    Signature Tudor blue shade
    40mm Titanium case
    Drilled lug holes
The amazing self adjusting pelagos bracelet @20mm

I was one of those that commented on MWR about the first set of photos weeks back, which I did not think were genuine, because of the realky contrived strap and the square case between the lugs, both of which I thought could not be genuine.
It seems I may be wrong.
If this gets public release as a smaller size than the standard Pelagos, I may have to be in the queue.
And yes of course it has to have snowflake hands, they were invented for the MN, so to leave them out would ve totally wrong. When did Tudor ever use swords, or even last use mercedes hands?

I know they couldn't use anything else for an MN watch but for me Tudor stick the snowflake hands on every design, and it's now overdone.

My point wasn't how to tweak the MN watch but rather a reimagining/mash up of a Milsub but under the Pelagos brand, as the fully graduated bezel seemed like it was already a step in that direction.

What is great here is the no-date, and the removal of the recesses in the chapter ring for the indices - it simplifies the dial.

Is the case size same as the standard Pelagos?

Like Sweets I poo pooed this when mentioned on MWR, I thought the images looked a bit too photoshopped. However it looks as if this is real and if so great. Not sure I would buy one from a shop but if an issued one from the MN came on the market I would likely be in the initial scramble to own it. Same for the Israeli issued Pelagos.
It has to have snowflake hands, why would Tudor want to reference the milsub. They did not make it and it has nothing to do with the brands history. I think itís good that Tudor have gone out of their way to produce something like this even if I originally thought it was a hoax.

Looks very nice, but Iíd personally prefer a date window.

Looks good but Iíd like to think that also had a standard Pelagos 200m with bracelet to accompany this MN edition. Also hoping that itís still titanium and not steel. But the colour of the metal looks very bright.

I've noticed Tudor are using a "boutique" related hashtag on Instagram in relation to this watch. Hoping it's a general release and not boutique only.

My AD just contacted me and asked if I wanted first dibs in Vietnam. I've said a provisional yes, but need to see the strap set up first.

Actually, I need to see the bloody watch first!

They also said they would be getting an allocation - so not boutique only.
As also reported previously - low number of watches with MN21 on caseback, with higher production in 2022 (MN22).

Confirmed as 42mm. Thatís a shame, from my POV at least. Have first dibs at my local AD, but will have to pass :(

I think I'll pass on this also. If I had the black Pelagos then I would have gone for this, but there is not enough difference in this and my standard blue to also have this.

Iím right on the fence with this at 42mm. At 40 I would have pounced. But I think Iíd need to try it on first in all honesty. Probably will hold off on that call to the AD. For nowÖ

Iím sure there are probably more but the only one Iíve been in is the one in harrods. I donít really get why mass market brands release boutique edition watches

Well Tudor love their lists, makes them feel all Rolexy!

None of the allocation watches remain that way for all that long though, even the Chrono's are starting to come through now and the previous suspects, GMT and 58's are everywhere.

I am warming to this one though, you can't say they haven't made a proper tool watch, would have liked a 40mm case for wearability.

Until the VIP customers contact the AD and you get bumped down the list. When it comes to luxury goods it hasn't been first come come, first served for a long time. As a mere mortal I suspect I'll be waiting a loooooooooong time for one...

I like it but too large for me. I wonder if this will drive interest in fixed bar divers and extend the market. Might be to CWC's advantage.

The AD I spoke to said they had a call from Tudor on Monday with some details.
Spec they told me was :-
    Titanium case / bezel
    2 straps - Rubber+ NATO
    Price £2980 (or £2920?)
42mm - this is different to what others are saying at 41mm?

Not long till we find out for sure though!

Excited to see if this becomes available. And , of course it should have snowflake hands.

This could be a prototype, as alluded to, when the first images leaked. I struggle to believe that those fixed lugs are the final design. So Iím reserving judgement until itís released.

Iíd like to see a 39mm pťlagos with reduced case height, drilled lugs and no date. Looks like weíre getting a steel pťlagos with a simpler dial and fixed lugs. Classic Tudor enthusiast trolling

Bidirectional bezel... no idea why they have chosen that configuration... Isn't ideal for diving on a military dive watch...

I wondered if it might be clockwise only to work with the countdown bezel, but bi-directional doesn't make sense really.
